A Brief History about the Cameroon Town Hall
The Cameroon Townhall for Healthcare Professionals was birthed during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthcare professionals in the diaspora came together to discuss how they could support their home country, Cameroon, during the global crisis. Initially, the Town Hall sessions were held weekly to share knowledge and best practices for managing COVID-19, such as pronation for severe cases, key medications, testing strategies, generating a robust genomic surveillance strategy for variant tracking, etc. Over time, the scope of the Town Hall expanded to include a wide range of healthcare topics and challenges.
